In a rare gesture the Central Govt. has announced an additional quantum of pension ranging from 20% to 100% for Defence Pensioner and Central Govt. pensioners who are over 80 years of age with effect from 01.01.2006 Govt. of India, Ministry of personnel, Public Grievances & Pension, Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare, New Delhi vide policy letter F. No. 38/37/08-P&PW(A).pt.1 dated 03.10.2008 as per the recommendations of VI Central Pay Commission. Defence Pensioners / Central Govt. Pensioners who retired prior to 2006 and their widows who are receipt of family pension are eligible for this additional quantum of pension.
Defence pensioners & Family pensioners are eligible to get an additional quantum of basic pension at the rate 20%, 30%, 40%, 50% & 100% for those who have completed the age of 80 years, 85 years, 90 years, 95 years & 100 years respectively. This additional basic pension will also be paid with dearness allowances as applicable from time to time.
All Military veterans and widows of veterans who are in receipt of military pension may approach their respective Pension Disbursing Authority / Banks along with any valid documents which proves the date of birth of pensioners. PAN Card, Matriculation Certificate, Passport, Driving License or Voter’s Identity Card would suffice.

I became Ex from IAF on 12 Oct 2011 in A4G2 category (Problem of Hypertension & Dyslepdemia).Sir, Army people get medical pension in Cat’B’ also.I’m receiving normal pension & sent application for medical pension. As per medical board 30% is my composite disability. Kindly help me

but i have not received any med pension on till date
i was awarded med cat b perm with 50%board pension but i have no any board pension rec till date. please help me.
