Bengaluru: Akhila Karnataka Ex-Servicemen Association, Rajya Ghataka and Bangalore Zilla Ghataka, A7 Entertainment and She For Society had jointly organised a programme at BGS Grounds in Vijayanagar, Bengaluru, yesterday to commemorate Kargil Vijay Diwas.
On the occasion, Karnataka Sainika Ratna Awards were presented to 24 Ex-Servicemen. MLC C.N. Manjegowda, Lt. Col. Puttichanda Ganapathy MVC (Retd.) and Mysuru-based VeKare Ex-Servicemen Trust President Mandetira N. Subramani (Air Veteran) were among those who received the award from the dignitaries
As part of the event, a ‘Ride with Soldiers’ bike rally was also organised.
Association State President Dr. N.K. Shivanna (Veteran Junior Commissioned Officer), Association Mysuru Ghataka President Diwakar (Army Veteran) and others were present.
