Overview
Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS), a deemed university under the Ministry of Education, has invited online applications for the post of Section Officer (Security) at its Mumbai campus. There is one vacancy (unreserved), Group B, at Pay Level 7 of the 7th CPC. Personnel who have served in the Army or a similar uniformed service at JCO level or above are eligible under the second eligibility route. The notification is Advt. Ref. Selection process
Provisional eligibility is based on the details declared in the online application.
Shortlisting by a Screening Committee, which may limit the number of candidates called.
Written test (wherever applicable) and/or interview.
Selection in order of merit.

3. Fill in the form carefully and give a valid email ID. All correspondence, including the interview letter, goes to this email only.
4. Upload all certificates and marksheets, along with photograph and signature as per the size limits in the form.
5. Pay the application fee: Rs. 2,000 for UR; Rs. 1,500 for OBC/EWS and women; Rs. 1,000 for SC/ST; Rs. 500 for PwBD. Fees are non-refundable, and applications without full fee are not considered.
6. Keep a printout of the filled form and the acknowledgement email.
7. Bring original certificates for verification when called for test/interview.
